 Tallahassee Pain, (born Faheem Najm, in Tallahassee, Florida in 1985) is a singer, songwriter, rapper and producer better known as "T-Pain." He began creating beats, writing and producing his own music at the age of 10, and in the early 2000's he had regional success with songs such as "Robbery" and "F.L.A," in the rap group; Nappy Headz. After going solo he was recognized by Akon, for recording "I'm Fucked Up," a reworked version of Akon's Top Ten hit "Locked Up." Akon then signed him to a Konvict Muzik/Jive Records deal.
On December 5th, 2005, T-Pain's first album title "Rappa Ternt Sanga" was released. The album experienced hit singles "I'm Sprung," which hit number 8 on Billboard's Hot 100, and "I'm N Luv (Wit A Stripper)," hitting number 5 on Billboard's Hot 100. The album was certified gold, for selling over 500,000 copies.The song spawned heavily played remixes spawned official remixes; "I'm Sprung 2" with Trick Daddy and the YoungBloodZ, and "I'm N Luv (Wit a Stripper), The Remix" featuring Twista, Pimp C, Paul Wall, R.Kelly, MJG and Too $hort. T-Pain went on to be featured on many artists songs including E-40's U and Dat which also featured Kandi Girl.
